Brand films & Client stories

"Every moment on that stage has earned its place. So has every frame."

Brand films and client stories that give your audience a reason to trust you.

Most brand videos say the same things. They describe what an organisation does, list what makes it different, and tell the viewer why they should care. The result is content that confirms what the viewer already suspected: that the organisation is talking about itself.

A brand film that works does the opposite. It finds the truth at the centre of what an organisation does and lets that truth speak. The viewer draws their own conclusion, and that conclusion is far more durable than anything the organisation could have said directly.

How we approach it

Documentary instinct is not a technique. It is a way of working.

It requires patience, genuine curiosity, and the discipline to serve the story rather than the brief. It also requires a particular kind of presence on set: unhurried, unobtrusive, and interested in the subject rather than the agenda.

These are not qualities that can be manufactured to brief. They are either present in the way a production company works, or they are not. A brand film that feels genuinely human rather than produced is the result of a production team that listened before it filmed, and served the story rather than imposed one.

project harar

Lloyd spent three consecutive years as the sole documentary camera operator embedded with the surgical teams of Project Harar in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, filming patients through every stage of complex facial reconstruction surgery in sensitive medical and humanitarian environments.

That work required the ability to move through high-stakes situations with complete discretion, and to find the human truth in circumstances where the subject was rarely thinking about the camera at all. That is the instinct we bring to every brand film brief.

relevant work

A deliberately limited portfolio of work we are proud to show

Brand films and documentary productions include the portrait film for The Hare at Blean in Blean, Canterbury: a documentary portrait of an independent pub and the people behind it, exploring heritage, community, and the conviction of doing things properly. Also includes cinematic event and narrative films for NongHyup Bank at Mansion House, and brand content for Children with Cancer UK. The Hare at Blean is the first in an ongoing documentary series.

Brand film and documentary work benefits most from early involvement. The best stories reveal themselves in the preparation, not on the day. Every engagement starts with a structured discovery call to understand the brief, the story, and what the finished film needs to do.
